Here we go...

So, I'm trying to improve my blogging.  Now that we are getting the show on the road I'm sure I will be blogging more. Here is the rundown:

-Our KD, N, backed out.  I am not mad at him because I understand how very huge this is, however, I am upset that he waited until 3 weeks before we start trying to tell me this.

-I was sad for a bit but then I was sitting at a stoplight on the very day that he backed out and I saw a squirrel grab a nut and run up a tree.  Right there in my car I said outloud to myself "Well, at least someone got their nut today". I had a laugh and came to the conclusion that this is for the best.

-We signed our contract with the fabulous Northwest Chryobank and we have been reviewing donor profiles.  Right at this very moment I'm waiting for an extended profile from them and I keep logging out and back into their website.  I also keep emailing them questions that I feel are important but that I'm sure they see as very mundane.

- We should be the owners of sperm by the end of the week. WOW!

- AF is visiting this week so if my caluclations are correct we will be inseminating around October 3.

-I am thankful for the NWChryo forum and for this blog because I don't feel comfortable telling my friends and family about our journey just yet.  I feel like I might jinx things.  I know that sounds nuts but I am very supersticious! I can't help it.  I'm always knocking on wood, walking around the ladder, closing the bathroom door & toilet seat and taping pennies in random places.

-I have high hopes for this first try.  I know that is crazy because I've read all of the statistics and the blogs etc but I just feel it.  October is a good month for us.  J & I started dating in October 2007 and got married in October 2010.  Fall is our favorite season and Halloween in our favorite holiday.  I am thinking positivley as if this is the only try we will need.

-So, here we go.  If you are the praying kind, please send a few up for us.
